Cape Cod Wooden Whales (CCWW) makes one-of-a-kind pieces of art from reclaimed wood and other natural materials. CCWW not only makes whales, but also sharks, fish, and other sea creatures.
How They Are Made
Each whale (or other sea creature!) starts with a unique piece of reclaimed wood. From there, a hand drawn template is used to trace the outline of the whale onto the piece of wood. Next, the design is cut out using a jigsaw. After a light sanding of the edges, the piece is complete. Most whales are branded with the artists initials ("EKC") and have a brief write up affixed to the back.

Will you ship me a whale?
In most cases, no. However, if you let me know what you are looking for, I would be happy to refer you to the closest retail store or show. New shops are always being added!
Do you have a store or studio?
Cape Cod Wooden Whales, LLC doesn't have a studio yet, but we do shows throughout the year and our products are sold in shops on Cape Cod, Nantucket, the South Shore, and Newport, RI. You can also follow on Instagram @capecodwoodenwhales to see the latest products and collections.
What sizes do whales come in?
Whales and other sea creatures range in size from 3.5" ornaments up to 62" pieces. Most are made from a hand-drawn template with standard sizes of 15", 20", 24", 28", 45", and 62".
